Delaware Poultry Health Systems goes live with CoreOne for Labs

The University of Delaware's Charles C. Allen Biotechnology Laboratory and Lasher Poultry Diagnostic Laboratory went live this month with Trace First’s CoreOne for Labs laboratory information management system (LIMS). The University of Delaware laboratories serve the State of Delaware’s $3.2 billion poultry industry.

Tammy Leimer, Trace First’s CoreOne for Labs Business Manager, said “The University of Delaware’s Poultry Health System (UDPHS) is a critical piece of the poultry industry’s success. Their ability to provide comprehensive testing services to both commercial and backyard growers aids in improving production, controlling diseases and ensuring the safety of consumer poultry products. In June 2022, recognizing that their current LIMS was insufficient in meeting their needs, they selected Trace First’s CoreOne for Labs LIMS solution. The UDPHS staff was committed to an expedited implementation of the cloud-based system. Trace First was able to rapidly deploy the new LIMS and guide UDPHS through the implementation process. The successful January go live is just the beginning of a continued partnership with UDPHS, as Trace First is committed to the continuous improvement of CoreOne for Labs to support the essential services provided by UDPHS and other veterinary diagnostic laboratories across the United States.”
